Terms and Conditions

  • Age range for applicants is 18+ (males only)
  • Accommodation for all participants will be arranged at the Ibn Haldun University Campus.
  • Applicants agree to abide by the retreat timetable. This includes all classes, outings, prayer times, mealtimes, and recreational activities. This is to ensure maximum benefit from our carefully curated development programme.
  • Group leader must be consulted in advance if participants feel they are unable to attend any item on the schedule.
  • Group leader's instructions must always be followed.
  • Respect towards teachers, staff, other attendees, and all university/institute property is essential.
  • Participants agree to responsible use of personal electronic devices, and abide by any device-free times set by group leaders. This is in place to assist participants in taking maximum benefit.
  • I understand that As-Safwah may use photos or videos taken during the retreat for promotional and similar purposes.
  • I have read and understand the advice, check-list and relevant documentation provided by As-Safwah for this retreat.
  • I acknowledge that Islamic etiquette and good character must be observed at all times on this retreat.
  • I understand that if the terms and conditions are not met, my registration will be cancelled with no refund. If it is realised during or after the retreat that conditions were not met, this may mean a suspension on attending future retreats.
  • Cancellations of confirmed bookings are non-refundable.
  • If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the retreat is cancelled, you will receive a full refund or transfer to the rescheduled date. We will contact you to arrange this.
  • Travel Guidelines (UK Citizens)
  • Your passport should be valid for at least six months from the date you arrive and there should be a full blank page for the entry and exit stamps.
  • A Visa is NOT required for UK passport holders. Applicants from other countries should check the guidance from their respective countries.
